1st FCS event: Halloween
At the already well known address of Dženetić čikma number 12, on the first floor of the square building, where the headquarters of the Film Center Sarajevo is located, the first event for young people was held free of charge. Some of the visitors know this place from the Free Cinema Valter, the first cinema of this type in Sarajevo, which kept us together during the pandemic with an authentic film repertoire and lectures by prof. Faruk Lončarević.
After the permanent exhibition “Walter Defends Sarajevo” was moved to the location of the national monument “Old Railway Station Bistrik” in order to enrich the city’s exhibition fund, in cooperation with the City of Sarajevo, the place where the exhibition was born was turned into a place for young people. The first in the winter program of events was Halloween on October 31, 2021.
Visitors had the opportunity to watch the movie “The Love Witch” free of charge, and then enjoy the party hosted by Sara and Emina from the Frka Party conceptual dj group.
