U ratnom metežu Sarajeva 1941. godine Mustafa se želi obogatiti, banči i orgija s njemačkim oficirima. Sestra i brat mu drugačije žive, pomažu ilegalcima i kriju mladu Jevrejku. Nijemci vrše pretres u Mustafinoj kući, ubijaju mu oca, a Jevrejka uspijeva pobjeći. Plašeći se za djevojčin život moli je da bježi i tako štiti ljubav, koja je nikla među njima u surovim danima rata.

Sarajevo in 1941. In the turmoil of WWII, Mustafa is intent on getting rich, and he drinks and orgies with German officers. His sister and brother live very different lives, they help the resistance movement and provide shelter to a young Jewish woman. When the Germans raid Mustafa’s home, they kill his father but fail to capture the Jewish girl who manages to escape. Fearing for the girl’s life, he beseeches her to run away, desperate to protect the love which grew between them in the cruel times of war.
