Talijansko-francusko-jugoslovenski pustolovno-historijski film. Predstavlja adaptaciju romana Aleksandra Puškina. Protagonist je oficir ruske carske vojske koji godine 1770. odlazi u udaljeni garnizon i sticajem okolnosti se sretne sa Jemeljanom Pugačovom, samozvanim carem i vođom ustanika protiv carice Katarine Velike.

A historical adventure film in Italian/French/Yugoslav coproduction. The film is an adaptation of Pushkin’s novel and the lead character is an officer of Russian imperial army who is deployed to a remote garrison in 1770 where he meets Yemelyan Pugachev, a self-proclaimed emperor and the leader of an uprising against the empress Catherine the Great.
